Jack Stewart Williamson (April 29, 1908 – November 10, 2006)
Well, we knew he couldn’t go on forever. Jack had a singular career in SF. His first story, The Metal Man, was published in 1928 in SF first science fiction magazine, Amazing Stories. Jack learned to adapt to the evolution of this literature we call science fiction. But from the beginning to the end, Jack always told a good story.
His career has many highlights. I certainly didn’t read all of his books and stories but some of my favorites are:


By all accounts Jack was the nicest of the nice. I’m sure Jack will be appearing on a future Talks in Time on the Time Traveler Show.
